#MicroPoetry|April ’15 Verses

Every month I tweet #MicroPoetry! In 140 characters, they are part prayer, thought, reflection, challenge or something in-between. I look forward to sharing them with you and hope that they may lead to reflection, musing and perhaps even discussion!

Shadow grips gathered community
Friends & family
Sisters & Brothers
Light’s dawn dimly dreamt
In doubt’s midst
Wait

In storm’s eye
pause
In transformation’s potential
reflect
In dim to dawn tipping
listen
In Lent
Easter beckons

Good Morning #Winnipeg
Dawn’s light embraces shadow’d night
paths hidden now illumined
& compassion’s heart revealed

Lingering light
lures longing leave
Divining dusk
drawing dreamers deeply
In alliteration’s warp
stories warmly weave

Twilight twinkles
as day recedes
In places shadowed
where moon’s embrace
mingles mystery’s midst
wonder invites awe

Thomas’ questions confront certainty
Wonder’s awe meets process’ boundary
May all who dream inspire us to creativity

Good Morning #Winnipeg
Where gaze goes
#future follows
With word spoken
#reality forms
Our #intention destiny defines

Before precipice lies
filled with success’ siren
& consuming’s lullaby
Beyond
with intention’s guide
community awaits

You are not future prescribed
As tree buds afresh
your story unfolds anew
What shall you choose?
Who shall you be?

Puck hovers
ice embracing blades await
In this moment
anticipation energises
potential abounds
in choices yet made

Good Morning #Winnipeg
In joy & tribulation’s journey
Grief & loss accompany
In laughter & tear
you are not alone

As wind scours
& maelstrom cleanses
that which has been
meets that which will be
At tempest’s ebb
potential awaits

Where we look
is what we see
What we see
determines what shall be
What shall be
begins with what ask
What do we ask?

Good Morning #Winnipeg
In cynicism’s cycle
be wonder’s embrace
In apathy’s languor
be joy abundant
With choice choose

On this day
dreams & dismay dance
In this moment
hope soothes apathy
Upon life’s path
how shall we be
Light’s Bearer?

Earth tremors in wavering waves
For those still standing upon terra firma
how shall we be care in desolation’s midst?
