As solar dance
spirals from old to new
pause
As solstice retreats
and sol's warmth tenderly renews
breathe
In resolutions tempting
simply Be

Inspired by new year's unfolding …

Be not a wall
obscuring inner Light
Rather
as waves sway
sparrows current ride
follow that which cannot be seen
to become that which you are

Inspired by feathered wings climbing currents …

Not in words
nor music
Not in lectures
nor pulpits
It is
in
the mind's eye
where imagination
plays
previews
possibilities
we call
future

Inspired by the dance of imagination as it future forms …

Amidst bellicose
prepared plans
hubris & machination
They arrive fragile
in
birth's wail
wonder-awed
ever curious
shattering
our glass walls

Inspired by the tenacity displayed in the fragility of new life …

Deep within
they lie
ever present
awakening awaiting
Virtue
Joy
Fulfillment
When vulnerability shared
tears purify
mutually may we arise

Inspired by arising together …

Be mighty
wield compassion
relentlessly
selflessly
joyfully
Be bold
as tender grace
in places story-shadowed
Be the Light
for which we yearn

Inspired by dancing partners grace and compassion …

Obscure not the spark within
ration not compassion
with abandon return to the Universe
all which you are
and blaze as light pure shall we

Habits woven
control's semblance lulls
horizon beckoning
Together
may we
hand in hand
leap from heights unseen
& discover dreams yet dreamt
