#MicroPoetry|March ’20 Verses

Every month I tweet #MicroPoetry! In 140 characters, they are part prayer, thought, reflection, challenge or something in-between. I look forward to sharing them with you and hope that they may lead to reflection, musing and perhaps even discussion!

Discipline
a practice outcomes hone
To dream is not
an act of fancy
In the process of creation
to dream again & again
expands limit’s bounds

Inspired by exercising dreams as an intentional practice …

In this Now
when the blessings
bestowed upon you
fruition come
May the wonder before you
inspire you to blessing be
to others now awakening

Inspired by blessings embraced …

Rope before us lies
where upon it unceremoniously ends
without summit met
Be bold
with another knot tie
& bravely venture toward goals lofty

Inspired by reaching beyond limits confining …

Care's Command
Care’s Command
What Tale?
What Tale?
So Grow
So Grow

So Nurture
So Nurture

Upon data’s stream
& tomes’ text
information does not
knowledge translate
The equivalency false
serves to highlight
ego or wisdom attained

Inspired by knowledge’s wisdom’s pursuit …

The things we do
way we act
choices we make
How we behave
we care
we Be
are the messages we scribe
into Universe’s fabric
What tale we tell?

Inspired by tales our being tell …

Wisdom Attained
Wisdom Attained
Limit's Bounds
Limit’s Bounds
Awakening
Awakening

Toward Goals
Toward Goals

Recall not when we freely gave
nor when sharing we provided
Receive without forgetting gratitude
So compassion’s cycle models care’s command

Inspired by knowing what to remember & what not to …

With each season
as sol wraps us
in her ever-spiral embrace
rings grow
From sapling to stalwart wisdom
like an oak
so our wisdom may so grow

Inspired by wisdom’s tenacious journey …

As water through stone shapes
wind amidst mountains moulds
patience & time ever entwined
That which will be
commitment begins to so nurture

Inspired by resilience’s steady journey …
