Faithful response
to oppression’s dehumanising
Our Call’s Source
never of Ego
but recognition
that Joy is our why
our Being meant to Be

Inspired by the celebration of Joy …

Siblings
lend not our ears
to lulling apathy
nor rhetoric hateful
Recall
Creation
boldly reminds us
1st we must
be astonished
before acting with care

Inspired by astonishment to humbly act ……

Upon shore’s edge
expectedly awaiting
As distractions & avoidance
excuses & fear
keep us from hearing
We are not only Loved
but intended to be So

of Discord’s Hate
like a symphony of One
silencing the Many
but the rhythmic rhyme
community binds
in counterpoint
finds Love’s chord

Inspired by realising with are Rhythm’s Dancer …

The surface
where kindness reveals
our interdependence
may seem beyond reach
by intolerant voices
We rise
when offer freely
what we hope to receive

Inspired by choosing to live joyfully …

Temper not
Righteous Rage
when Justice malformed
oppresses the people & places
we’re Called to not only free
but with whom our Liberation depends

Inspired by being loud when silence subjugates …

In moments
when world’s needs plead
& people lament
can dissuade
Remember
Comrades
we’re delightfully designed
to darkness dispel
with blazing Light

Inspired by responding to the Other’s need …

Violence’ logic
fostered by War’s turmoil
preferences Few
at Many’s expense
So arise we must
demanding Ancestors’ Wisdom
a Peace of Our Conscience
