There are times
when the darkness seeps
obscuring the Illumination
for which we collectively seek
In such times
hands held
we seek Light’s warmth

Inspired by seeking hope in Chaos’ midst …

The what we do matters
The how we do it is important
The why we do it is our legacy
The message we choose to live
should serve to then inspire

Inspired by living a legacy to enthuse …

Harmonies cascade through the air
lifting souls discordant
into the Ether from which they arrive
It’s in the silent pauses
that Our music begins

Inspired by listening for the silence …

Wishing may vision cast
Hope may inspire
but Belief translates aspiration
into realities in which
we not only sustain
but collectively flourish

Inspired by belief’s tenacity in disunity’s midst …

Though we may pause
standing surveying
whence we’ve come
It is our nature to move
toward the horizon
which is ever beckoning
innovative imagining

Inspired by knowing when to begin again …

shaped to act
intended to be
Be justice bravely
compassion effortlessly
forgiveness gracefully
In so doing
dare to inspire

Inspired by bravely risking …

What is right
what is just
what is truthful
Are not illustrated in wordsmithing
In the act of doing these things
so wisdom shall be known

Inspired by the act of doing …

Upon water still
current silent
ripples resigned
motionless we sit
Upon horizon
destination awaits
so together
paddle we must water strike
