Gratitude’s gift
Humility’s honour
requires few metaphors
less words
no purchase
present
They are tenderly
simply
expressed in
“thank you”
Inspired by the subversive power of a simple “thank you”
Wonder imagination delights
making splendour observable
inspiring creativity to aspire
& realise appreciation
belongs not to one
but many
Inspired by wonder imagination lit …
Upon life’s dance floor
rhythm takes us
accompanies & inspires us
not to arrive place determined
but to
realise
enjoy
each step
in this Now
Inspired by dance’s cadence to remove us from goals and to be in the moment …
In places of enmity
when those who would conquer
upon you spy
with deep breath
as Light centred
solemnity’s source
confidence’s core
Love be
Inspired by responding with love when those who would conquer bellicose be …
Kindness
a way of orienting
one’s unfolding life
to embrace others
as generous potential
awaiting grace’s touch
& blessings benediction
Inspired by acts that kindness reveals our shared humanity …
As wing upon current
unfettered
unrestricted
we shall roam
With compassion’s guide
care’s touchstone
together imagination reality shapes
Inspired by freedom collectively realised …
Passionate be
revel with abandon
joyfully relish
foolishly celebrate
that in you
me
we
us
Love
pure potential
imagination limitless
we are
Inspired by love as a verb …

Unto you
have gifts been granted
to you alone
No one else
possesses such blessings
With this boon
Creation awaits
what you shall create
Inspired by embracing the gifts given in order to give back …
Upon this book of life
She scribes our dreams
hopes
fears
& tears
upon the soul we are
as we aspire to blaze brightly
as She so nurtures
Inspired by the soul as an unfolding book …
From whence we’ve come
no return
however longed for
possible be
That toward which we steer
shaped by wisdom gleaned
from where we once were
Inspired by life’s trajectory from then, to Now toward when …
As you believe
you see
As you think
you know
Yet not in
isolation is meaning
nor wisdom grown
In believing
thinking
shared
we reality reveal
Inspired by awakening to reality cooperatively revealed …
In each speck of stardust
whether person or creature
animate or not
strength of character
resilience of promise
so longs
to recognised be
Inspired by the discipline to discern the strength & goodness each possesses …

Your Reflections are always inspiring to help me create certain things which are full of joy and happiness. I know how creative thoughts work on our inner soul. I am still learning as I go forward through each day with Our Heavenly, His Son Jesus Christ and The Holy Ghost. Thanks for sharing these wonderful words and thoughts.
Thanks you James for taking the time to share this kindness. It is always a gift to know such shadings are well received. I also hope your recovery is coming along – I imagine you have had space to muse about new creations during your time of recovery? Or such is my hope for you.
My recovery is doing better than I thought or expected this early along. I went to my church Temple today. I do really enjoy your shadings when you send them out. Very good work and planning went into them. It does show up on them I have written a few blogs since I came out of the sleeping part of my recovery. I prayed to Heavenly Father the night before. He heard my request answered me. I very happy he found time to help get me better and moving about. I have not yet gone back writing my books. I am starting next week setting up times to do write my book, time to write my blog posts. and time for my life with Jesus Christ. Which I have everyday except when I had that heart surgery. I know I was forgiven for that part. Have a exciting new weekend full of change if you have started to. Hope you keep following your way right through to your new job.
I am so pleased to hear that you are recovering well. There is always that tension in times of healing in having to withdraw and also the place when ‘boredom’ begins as creativity begins to bubble, while the body is not quite there yet. Sounds like you might be just about past that point and I so look forward to new creations that arise as you walk into balance of being James 🙂
Hello Richard I appreciate what you wrote above here. Yes, once you start to heal and the worst pain stops. We are on our way forward. I am happy I had the members of my church during the first week after surgery. They were there before also. They brought food dishes over so I would not have to worry about cooking. I was blown away by the honesty of giving by my fellow Mormon’s. I am doing good. I am going back to my time management schedule for writing on Monday. I miss working on my book. Have a peaceful happy weekend Richard !!
